Electronic Engineering Technology Department (JTKE) established in year 1997 and started operating in temporary campus in CIAST, Shah Alam. This department had moved into its permanent campus in Japan Malaysia Technical Institute (JMTi), Penang in year 1999. At the moment, JTKE has 18 staffs which comprises of qualified instructors and have the skill and profound experience in implementing technology and engineering programmes. JTKE is divided to 2 sections:
On the whole, JTKE responsible in run long-term skill courses for school leavers and also short term courses for skilled and semi-skilled workers from related industry. JTKE equipped with laboratory facilities, workshop and lecture rooms. JTKE is very committed in order to meet department objective so that JTM main objective is implemented.
